At the start of a week of shows in Mexico City, Bono has written a note to U2 fans in in the country.
U2.com'ers… Arrived in Mexico on Monday with the band…we love this place so much… can't wait for the shows. We're going to be here for almost a week. It was great to spend my birthday here.The ONE campaign are with me too because next year Mexico will chair the G20 – an annual get together of the most powerful leaders on the planet… Obama, Hu Jintao, Sarkozy, Merkel, Zuma, Dilma, they’ll all be flying in. By the time they fly out, we want them to have agreed specific decisions which we know will save and transform lives in the poorest parts of the world.
